I got to know Trados in the very late 90s of the last century when I worked as an in-house translator at Lomac Sp. z o.o. (currently the Polish office of RWS Holdings plc), which at that time was one of the leading localisation companies in my country. Back then I was already impressed by the idea of translation memory, and I even wrote a whole chapter of my Master’s thesis about it.
